While most kids get the vitamins and minerals they need from the foods that they eat, there are times when supplementation is recommended.

For example, children who are underweight, have growth issues, are on restricted diets due to food allergies , or have other illnesses or medical conditions that put them at risk for a deficiency may need to supplement with vitamins or minerals.

Upon your Dr.s recommendation, a Certified Nutritionist can provide a dietary analysis as well as assessment of blood tests to determine if your child is lacking in essential vitamins and minerals, and provide recommendations on how best to meet your child's unique needs.

Always be sure to treat vitamins and minerals as any medication by storing safely and carefully monitoring your children's access and usage.
