Salted Carmel Pumpkin Spice Protein Shake
Ingredients
- 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (unsweetened, canned or fresh)
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice (or a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- 1-2 packets of stevia or another low-carb sweetener (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or another low-carb, low-fat milk alternative)
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- Sugar Free Walden Farms Caramel Syrup
Optional toppings: a light sprinkle of extra pumpkin spice or a tiny pinch of sea salt
Directions
Combine Ingredients: In a blender, add the protein powder, pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice, vanilla extract, salt, sweetener (if using), almond milk, and ice cubes.
Blend: Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy. If the shake is too thick, you can add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
Taste and Adjust: Taste the shake and adjust the sweetness or saltiness to your preference.
Serve: Pour the shake into a glass. If desired, top with a sprinkle of pumpkin spice or a tiny pinch of sea salt.
